Summary
The chapter opens with Hani and Ishu leaving a restaurant, only to run into Ishu's older sister, Nik, and her fiancé, Rakesh, in the pouring rain. Nik greets them cheerfully, but there's an edge to her pleasantness. She mentions that she and Rakesh were sitting in the booth right next to theirs, which immediately puts Ishu on edge. Hani, unaware of the tension, tries to make polite conversation, congratulating Nik on her engagement. Ishu, however, is visibly uncomfortable and abruptly grabs Hani's hand, dragging her out into the storm.
