Chapter 13: Chapter Thirteen

Summary

The chapter opens with Hani and Ishu leaving a restaurant, only to run into Ishu's older sister, Nik, and her fiancé, Rakesh, in the pouring rain. Nik greets them cheerfully, but there's an edge to her pleasantness. She mentions that she and Rakesh were sitting in the booth right next to theirs, which immediately puts Ishu on edge.
