What Happened? uses an AI-assisted content pipeline to produce book-specific summaries and analysis. The process is designed to keep each guide tied to its source book and to catch structural publishing errors before a page becomes public.
Source-based drafting
Guide content is drafted from the source book text supplied to the content pipeline. The pipeline organizes material into pages for distinct reader needs, such as chapter summaries, characters, themes, symbols, endings, questions, and study activities.
AI and automated tools
Generative AI assists with drafting and organizing the guides. AI assistance is not a guarantee of factual accuracy, and a guide may contain an incorrect detail, interpretation, or chapter reference.
Publishing checks
Before content is imported into the public catalog, automated validation checks:
- required book, author, series, page-title, and description metadata;
- supported guide-page kinds and canonical URL formats;
- unique page paths and positions within a book guide; and
- internal links, so unresolved or noncanonical guide links are rejected.
Reader feedback
Each guide links to an error-report email that identifies the page being reported. Please see the Corrections Policy for what to include.
