Brandon's Story: September 11, 2001

Brandon Chavez is suspended from school for punching a bully who stole another boy's Wolverine gloves. Because his father, Leo, a kitchen manager at Windows on the World, cannot miss work, Brandon accompanies him to the World Trade Center. On the subway, Leo reminds Brandon of their "team" motto, and Brandon explains he later helped the bully to the nurse's station.
