Summary

Jonah wakes Saturday morning to a call from his father. The bankruptcy court hearing has been postponed, giving his parents another week to finish their restructuring plan. His father explains they had to let Enzo, the longtime bartender at Empire Billiards, go as a cost-cutting measure. Jonah is furious and hurt—Enzo is like an uncle to him, and he can't accept that his parents would reduce a person to a dollar sign. His father defends the decision, and the call ends with Jonah feeling guilty for his outburst but still angry.

Before he can process the news, Milly bursts into his room, still in his boxers, holding her phone. She shows him a Gull Cove Gazette article claiming that Archer Story was spotted performing at Dunes the night before, suggesting he's been hiding in plain sight. Jonah forwards the article to JT and texts him to call. Milly mentions she's been trying to reach Archer all morning without success.
