Summary

The chapter opens in the present day as Devon enters the large, overdecorated room Cai has chosen—a space that reminds her of her childhood quarters at Fairweather Manor. Cai sits on the bed, but instead of his Game Boy, he's holding her phone. He confronts her about three new text messages from Ramsey, demanding to know who she's been texting.
