Summary
Khalil spots a woman he believes may have followed him from Iguazú. While on the phone with Omar, he decides to test his suspicion by walking deeper into the park. He sees the woman and a man (Pike and Shoshana) but loses sight of them. When he emerges from a wooded causeway, he confronts two uniformed policemen. Believing they are there for him, Khalil panics, draws his pistol, and opens fire, killing both officers. Pike and Shoshana hear the shots, rush to the scene, and exchange fire with Khalil.
